Concerning the first question by Khadijat, nothing is wrong with you. It is not unusual to have skipped month or delayed menses in perimenachial years. So relax your mind. But in case you are already sexually active or even it is only one contact, kindly do pregnancy test.
As per the second question, it is likely to be hormonal imbalance, though you did not state your age. Have you been having oligomenorrhea (menstrual cycle length more than 35 days and less than 6 months) before? What is your body mass index? Are you on any form of family planning? This is because some hormonal contraceptives can be the cause. Also if you around forty five years, it could be a peri-menopausal symptoms.
I will suggest you see a Gynaecologist.
