Though auditions have been hugely successful across the regions, the audition at the Western part of Ghana seemed to have tested the firmness of the judges.
The auditioning process was halted briefly when a would be participant (name withheld) made an appearance before the judging panel and was questioned over her complexion. She openly confirmed that her natural skin complexion was tampered with.
According to her, she was advised by her cosmetologist to apply a skin lightening cream to help her deal with ‘rashes’ on her face.
This she said, resulted in the 'lightening' of her facial skin. She was further urged on to apply the cream to all parts of her body for uniformity purposes.
The model's plea to the judges to allow her to contest proved futile.
