The world is evolving daily as a result of globalisation and the numerous improvements made in diverse fields in terms of Leadership, Innovation, Science and Technology and many other powerful purpose driven platforms whose main focus is to improve the nature of life for the average person in our society.Institutions are blooming daily in our communities. Most of which are fused with critical thinking and problem solving skills , meant to improve on the mundane ways of doing things in our society.
In a small community called Battor in the Volta Region of Ghana, many students are enrolled with Proswrites Foundation, an initiative whose focus is to equip community students with Leadership skills which is aimed at solving problems and improving on the challenges faced by this students in the community.
As projected by the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs), Quality Education must be targeted at improving the lives of the people while equipping them with the necessary employable skills which best aims at eradicating poverty.
Innovation has been carefully considered in the curriculum of the initiative put together by the team of innovators at Proswrites Foundation. Currently, most of the students in Elementary Schools are coached on leadership that motivates and inspired by producing results in any task assigned as well as improving on the mindset positively.
Looking forward the foundation seeks to create more opportunities for such students who go through the coaching and mentorship programs in order for them not to resort to involving themselves into actions that would derail their future.
In a nutshell, in order for every community to thrive and solve it’s own problems, leadership geared towards critical thinking, problem solving ability and innovation must be considered to improve on the quality of work that should be done.
Proswrites Foundation is committed to developing talents and exposing such talents to the rest of the world through the leadership, Innovation and STEM (Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics ) programs to inspire younger boys and girls in the North-Tongu District of Ghana and beyond (Africa).
The writer is the Founder and Visionary leader of Proswrites Foundation. He is a Global Shaper with the Accra Hub, a World Economic Forum Initiative, an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student, a Public Speaker and a Diplomat in the making.
