Power walk everywhere: Pick up the pace wherever you are walking to. Not only will you get there faster but you will also burn calories while you’re at it too.
Get off your ride early: If you take a bus to where you’re going, get off a bit further away from your destination and walk the rest. A 10-minute walk should do it. Same goes for your car. Park it a few blocks behind but ensure that you wear comfy shoes and clothes that aren’t too tight.
Take the stairs: When you are at work, instead of taking the elevator go for the stairs. This workout is great for your legs and can improve the overall performance of your heart depending on how many ups and downs you take.
Make phone calls when you’re in motion: When on the phone, pace up and down. Not only will the phonecall distract you from what you’re doing, the longer the phonecall, the more fat burnt.
Use a trolley while shopping: The heavier the trolley, the better. Lugging around that load is an excellent workout for your overall body.
