43 Nigerians deported from Italy, Belgium, Germany

Forty three Nigerians were deported from Germany, Belgium and Italy last night over immigration-related offences and unruly behaviour.

The deportees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) at 8:55 p.m on board a Hi-Fly chartered Airbus 330 with registration number CS-TQW.

They were received by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), the police, among others.

The Deputy Director, Search and Rescue, NEMA, Dr. Bandele Onimode, said the deportees comprised 33 from Italy; seven from Belgium and three from Germany.
