Liberian President, Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has described the rejection of the Gambian presidential election results by President Yahya Jammeh as unacceptable and threat to peace in the West African sub-region.

Sirleaf, who is also the chair of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, urged Jammeh to respect the election results and facilitate a smooth and peaceful transition of power.
